Tips for Renting a Dumpster
A few small decisions make a dumpster rental go smoothly. Here are the tips we give most often. Call or text 508-466-5460 or book online.

Before you book
- List what's going in. Heavy materials change the size you need.
- Measure the spot. A 20 yard container needs roughly a car-length-and-a-half of space plus truck room.
- Check the rules. Street placement often needs a permit. HOAs may have their own rules.
- Ask about the rental period and weight allowance.
On delivery day
- Clear the area. Move vehicles, bins and anything else in the way.
- Mark the exact spot. A cone or a chalk line helps.
- Ask for boards if you're worried about the driveway.
While you load
- Load evenly, with heavy items on the bottom.
- Stay below the rail.
- Cover it when rain is coming.
- Keep neighbors' debris out. A covered or tarped container helps.
At pickup
- Clear access again. A blocked container means a return trip.
- Call early if you finish early. We can often pick up sooner.
What not to load
Hazardous materials, paint, batteries, tires, propane tanks and liquids.
